Doubt
August 19th, 2008 Posted in ProductionsStrollers’ 2008 – 2009 season kicks off with Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley. Directed by Miranda McClenaghan and set in a Catholic school in the Bronx, this brilliant and raw drama dissects and compares moral certainty with blind suspicions. It leaves the audience to discern between truth, fiction, and whatever is left beyond the shadow of a doubt.
Stay after the show for a “behind the scenes look” following selected performances. During this 30 minute talk-back, audience members are invited to ask questions of the actors and director about the process of producing such a dynamic text. Talk-backs will be held on Friday, Sept. 12 and Friday, Sept. 19.
Shows run Thursday (7:30 PM), Friday (8 PM), and Saturdays (4 PM & 8 PM), September 4th through 27th, 2008 at the Bartell Theatre in Madison, WI.
